SCULPTURE AS EXPERIENCE (C)
Mary Carin
Through three major and carefully guided projects, acquire a general understanding of sculpture. Learn to think creatively and to solve visual problems in an artistic and independent way. The elements of design; line, shape, texture, positive and negative space, value and color will be acknowledged and utilized. During constructive and affirmative critiques, explore terminology associated with sculpture while analyzing works of art objectively and recognizing subjective interpretations.  Advanced students may work in independent study with assistance.
