Leah Brown
Leah Brown holds a BFA with an emphasis in painting and drawing from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. She worked as the personal assistant for Louis Hopkins, founder of the Louis Hopkins Underwood Center of the Arts in Lubbock, Texas. Leah later worked as a gallery manager and restoration artist for Artworks Gallery in Austin, Texas. Leah has over a decade of teaching experience for students ranging from 5 years old to adults. Leah has participated in solo shows in Texas and group shows in California. Leah’s work uses a strong base in drawing to create works that focus on portraiture in oil painting, woodcuts, linocuts, watercolor painting and ink drawing.
